Summary:The invention relates to an apparatus for the certified measurement of the bandwidth of a network access, and to the calibration method thereof. Said apparatus comprises processing means (1) associated with a network interface (2) and a serial port (4) for connection to a legally valid and calibrated external clock source (6). Said processing means comprise software that carries out a series of measures stipulated in the ministerial order ITC/912/2006 relative to the quality of service in the provision of electronic communication services, said measures being stored in storage means (3). The time measurement is carried out by a pulse counter (7).
