The asphalt mixes are stable and meet performance requirements according to national standards. The asphalt mixes require less bitumen than fiber-stabilized mixes, and can be mixed for less time at a lower temperature. The asphalt mixes comprising the inventive composition are thus more economical and environmentally friendly than existing asphalt mixes.
