Summary:A fastener element (10, 10', 40) according to the invention includes a coupling head (11, 41) and a bifurcated tape-sandwiching portion (21, 21', 51) extending from the coupling head (11, 41). At least one sticking preventing convex portion (24, 54) is projectingly disposed on at least one surface of sticking surfaces where the fastener elements stick to each other when the fastener element (10, 10', 40) is subjected to liquid processing. Thus, when the liquid processing, such as a coating process is performed on a plurality of fastener elements (10, 10', 40), a phenomenon that the fastener elements strongly stick to each other due to the surface contact of the first element surfaces and do not separate from each other is prevented, and thus processing, such as coating can be uniformly performed on the entire fastener element. For such a reason, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of coating failure or uneven quality in the fastener element.
