Summary:The method involves removing blowby gases from a crankcase (10) and supplying into an inlet duct (18). The actual power consumption is measured. The actual power consumption is compared with the target power consumption at the appropriate operating parameters. An independent claim is also included for a blowby device for an internal combustion engine. Offenbart sind ein Verfahren zum Steuern einer Blowby-Funktion eines Verbrennungsmotors oder eines Kolbenverdichters und eine Blowby-Einrichtung, bei denen zur Überprüfung der ordnungsgemäßen Funktion die Leistungsaufnahme eines Blowby-Heizers mit einem elektrischen Heizelement überwacht wird. Alternativ oder optional kann in einem Messmodus die Temperatur im Bereich des Heizers ermittelt werden.
