Summary:The method involves identifying a user by a detection device of a cooking device, and determining a characteristic qualification factor of the identified user by two parameters that represent training and/or experience of the user and qualification for performing a work plan, respectively. Information to goods to be cooked, cleaning agents and device functions is provided for the user. The information is reduced and expanded and/or a released work plan, the cleaning agents and device functions are expanded when the two target values exceeds and falls below by the parameters, respectively. The information is provided in form of texts, images, pictograms, diagrams, graphical representations, photos or optical displays. An independent claim is also included for a cooking device comprising an input device.
