Summary:The terminal has a connecting surface provided with a borehole (6) and radially extended from a clamping region (1). The connecting surface comprises two partial areas (2, 3) that are arranged at a distance from each other to fix a wire (4) in the clamping region by a clamp screw or a clamp bolt. The wire is symmetrically formed within the clamping region for enclosing the wire including a transition area (5) to the partial areas of the connecting surface. A radial minimum distance is formed between the borehole in the connecting surface and the transition area.
