Summary:The drive (10) has a rotor (15) and an actuator (12) connected with each other such that the rotor and actuator rotate with identical speed and different speeds in two current feed conditions of an electric machine (11), respectively. The drive performs linear and/or rotary positioning of two rotary components of a rotary system with respect to each other when the rotor and actuator rotate with different speeds. The machine transmits actuating power for increasing or decreasing speed of the rotor with respect to speed of the actuator through an air gap (18) between a stator (13) and the rotor. The electric machine is formed as an asynchronous machine.
