Summary:The arrangement (2) has a circuit input (3) with input terminals (4, 5) for coupling the arrangement with an electrical power supply network (6), where an alternating current (AC) supply voltage (Uv) of the power supply network is supplied to the circuit input. An operating device (8) is coupled with a control device (7) and supplied with electrical energy from an energy storage (12). The control device is designed to transform a switch unit (10) into a decoupled state after charging the energy storage in a waiting state of the arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a circuit arrangement in a household appliance.
