Summary:A mobile terminal and data extracting method therein are disclosed, by which specific data meeting a specific condition can be selected and extracted conveniently and quickly in the course of displaying a data list constructed with a plurality of data. The present invention includes receiving an input of a touch action for selecting specific data and a classification condition corresponding to the specific data using a displayed data list upon receiving the input of the touch action, selecting at least one data including the specific data as the data including the classification condition from a plurality of data, receiving an input of an extraction command signal for extracting the selected at least one data, and extracting the selected at least one data upon receiving the input of the extraction command signal.
