Summary:The adhesive tape comprises a polyester fabric carrier (1) and an adhesive layer applied on a side, where the quotient of titer of transverse fibers related to the length and of longitudinal fibers related to the width is 2.2-6 and the carrier has a surface weight of 118 g/m 2>. The thickness of the carrier is 180-190 mu m measured according to DIN EN 1944. The warp yarn has a yarn weight of 50-60 dtex and/or the weft thread has a yarn weight of 300-370 dtex. The thread count in the warp is 48-55/cm and the thread count in the weft is 25-30/cm. The adhesive tape comprises a polyester fabric carrier (1) and an adhesive layer applied on a side, where the quotient of titer of transverse fibers related to the length and of longitudinal fibers related to the width is 2.2-6 and the carrier has a surface weight of 118 g/m 2>. The thickness of the carrier is 180-190 mu m measured according to DIN EN 1944. The warp yarn has a yarn weight of 50-60 dtex and/or the weft thread has a yarn weight of 300-370 dtex. The thread count in the warp is 48-55/cm and the thread count in the weft is 25-30/cm. The tape has a maximum tensile force of less than 115 N/cm measured in accordance with DIN EN 14410. The abrasion resistance of the adhesive tape fulfils an abrasion class D, measured to a mandrel with 10 mm diameter according to LV 312 and/or an abrasion class C, measured to a mandrel with 5 mm diameter according to LV 312. The bending stiffness of the carrier is smaller than 3 mNx cm 2>measured in accordance with DIN 53362. The mass of adhesive layer is 40-60g/m 2>based on the tape surface. The adhesive layer is a self-adhesive coating made of rubber, acrylate or silicone.
