Summary:The apparatus (1) has a blow piston (14) extending in a longitudinal direction, and a blow nozzle (2) applying a gaseous medium to a preform (10). A connection plate (4) supplies the medium to the apparatus via connection lines (6, 8), and a control block controls the supply of the medium using partially varying pressure levels. A distribution member (20) guides the medium into channels in the block, and is arranged between the plate and the block if viewed in flow direction of the medium, where the channels extending within the block are parallel to the longitudinal direction of the piston.
