The first material and second material are electrically conductive. The first material has larger electrical conductivity than the second material. The first and second materials are made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. The composite material is a layer composite material over a section of the component, where a first layer is formed by the first material and a second layer is formed by the second material. The component such as cable or contact element of an electric circuit partially made of a composite material, which is produced from a first material and a second material, is claimed. The first material and second material are electrically conductive. The first material has larger electrical conductivity than the second material. The first and second materials are made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. The composite material is a layer composite material over a section of the component, where a first layer is formed by the first material and a second layer is formed by the second material. A cross-section of the component taken vertical to the extension of the layers of the layer composite material has a rectangular form, circular form or ellipse form, where the second material is arranged on an outer surface of the first material viewed in the radial direction and covers the first material over a section of the outer surface of the first material. The first material is connected with the second material. The surface-near structures of the first material and second material receive intimate metallic connection. The composite material is made by plating process, multi-layer casting process or co-extrusion process. Independent claims are included for: (1) a semi-finished product for producing a component of an electric circuit; and (2) a method for producing a component of an electric circuit. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Bauelement einer elektrischen Schaltung, insbesondere Kabel oder Kontaktteil, das aus einem Verbundwerkstoff hergestellt ist, der zumindest aus einem ersten Werkstoff und einem zweiten Werkstoff hergestellt ist, wobei zumindest der erste oder der zweite Werkstoff Aluminium oder eine Aluminiumlegierung ist und zumindest der erste oder der zweite Werkstoff elektrisch leitend ist.
