An arrangement zone (20) is downstream from an infeed unit (10) comprising two conveyor belts (11, 12), to each direction of transport for articles e.g. individual containers (3), molded containers (4) and multipacks (5), corresponding in a section of the arrangement zone, where the directions enclose an angle between conveyor belts. A lane zone (30) has lanes downstream from the arrangement zone, where the articles within the lane zone are transported to the processing unit in an ordered state. An independent claim is also included for a method for feeding articles of two different types to a downstream processing unit by a conveyor system.
