Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hohlprofil (1) für Kraftfahrzeuge mit wenigstens einem in eine Hohlkammer (3) des Hohlprofils (1) eingesetzten Versteifungselement (2), wobei erfindungsgemäß das Hohlprofil (1) auf wenigstens zwei Innenflächen (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) jeweils Führungsmittel (4) und das Versteifungselement (2) Eingriffsmittel (5) aufweist, die mit den Führungsmitteln (4) derart in Eingriff stehen, dass das Versteifungselement (2) in dem Hohlprofil (1) verschiebbar ist.
