Summary:A method for providing different image streams to audience members in an interactive theatre. The method includes positioning optical filters such as shutter glasses between audience members and a display surface, and projecting in a time multiplexed manner two or more image streams on the display surface. The shutter glasses include a switching capability that modifies the operating state to synchronize shuttering to view any selected projected video stream. Modifying the operating state may be in response to user input.
