Summary:A vehicle-mountable sun visor (100) includes: a shaft (28) of which one end is mounted on a vehicle body; a support (27), which is mounted on the shaft (28); a sun visor body in which two resin core members (20a,20b) are coupled with each other by a hinged portion (21) and the two resin core members are folded with the hinged portion being a fold so as to involve the other end of the shaft and the support; a first slide guide (23a), which is provided in proximity to the hinged portion (21), for guiding sliding of the support (27); and a second slide guide (22a), which is provided on an internal face of one of the two resin core members (20a,20b), for guiding sliding of the support (27). The support (27) is slidably held in a space surrounded by the folded two resin core members (20a,20b), the first slide guide (23a), and the second slide guide (22a). The support turns around the shaft (28), and the sun visor body thereby turns. The support (27) slides along the two resin core members (20a,20b), the first slide guide (23a), and the second slide guide (22a), and the sun visor body thereby slides relative to the shaft (28). In this manner, operability in sliding operation of the vehicle-mountable sun visor is enhanced.
