Summary:Detector with a partially transparent scintillator substrate According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a flat detector is provided in which an opaque layer between a transparent substrate and a CsI scintillator is arranged. This layer is made partially transparent by opening many small holes in the opaque layer with for example a pulsed laser. This allows for the application of light to the inside of the front end of the flat detector through the opaque layer.
