Summary:The self-opening umbrella or parasol system involves two shafts and comprises shade, first and second shafts, fixture, a first fastening with a first opening brace, a second fastening with a second opening brace and a number of tensioning braces. A first opening spring is arranged in the upper part of the first shaft opposite to the first fastening and through a first connection is fixed in the fixture arranged in the lower part of the first shaft. A second opening spring is arranged in the upper part of the second shaft opposite to the second fastening and by a second connection is fixed in the fixture in the lower part of the second shaft. The first opening spring presses the first fastening with the first opening brace downwards against the fixture. The second opening spring presses the second fastening with the second opening brace downwards against the fixture for opening a number of tension braces, which in the open position of the umbrella or parasol stretch the cover.
