Summary:The present invention discloses new antigens of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis, antigenic compositions comprising at least two of said antigens, as well as epitopes, antibodies or hypervariable fragments thereof and nucleotide sequences coding for them. The present invention also concerns their use in diagnosis and/or vaccination against Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis, in mammals, and in particular in cattle, but also in sheep and caprines. The invention also concerns their potential application in diagnosis and/or vaccination against Crohn's disease in human.
