Summary: | The cartridge (2) has a set of reagent bags (A-D) equipped with connecting lines (6-9) which are inserted alternatively into an input mechanism (3) of an analyzer (1). Each reagent bag has a manifold valve (10) with two valve positions directly at a junction of the connecting lines, where the valve is controlled by the analyzer. One valve position produces a fluid connection between the connecting lines and the reagent bags, and the other valve position closes the bags and produces a fluid connection between a ventilation source and the connecting lines. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an analyzer. |
