Summary:Parts of a garment are placed within a three-dimensional space in accordance with pattern data, and the parts are virtually stitched together in accordance with a stitching relation between the parts. A human body wire-form model 46 is inserted into the stitched garment, the model 46 is then expanded into a human body model 49, and the garment is deformed based on interference with the model 49 and stress generated within the garment, to obtain a garment dressed on the human body model 49. Because the parts that are placed without taking into consideration interference with a human body can be stitched together easily, and the garment is not deformed into an odd shape during an initial stage, a high-speed simulation can be performed.
