Summary: | Efficient restraint with an airbag is achieved without complicating the structure of a vehicle seat, or needing a space for an additional function in the vehicle seat. An airbag (45) is disposed in a state of being deployed in a vehicle seat, between a seat cushion and a seat frame. The airbag (45) is fixed at first fixation spots (71) to first fixing points (61) of an accommodation case (41), which is a part of the structure of the vehicle. The airbag (45) is also fixed at second fixation spots (72) to second fixing spots (62) of support portions (53), which are spaced rearward of the vehicle from the first fixing spots (61).
The distance (L1) from the first fixation spots (71) to the second fixation spots (72) via the upper surface of the airbag (45) is set longer than the distance (L2) from the first fixation spots (71) to the second fixation spots (72) via the lower surface of the airbag (45). This configuration allows upward inflation of the airbag (45), while limiting downward inflation. |
