The functional units (10) are positioned side to side to form an electrical switchgear (5) with a front face (6) and a rear face (7). The removable compartment further comprises cable terminations (23) for attaching the outgoing cables, and disassembly elements (25, 26, 30, 32) for allowing the removable compartment (24; 24') to be removed from the electrical switchgear (5).
