Summary:Method for replicating directional sound detecting a plurality of sound signals emitted by a sound source in a recording space and recording the plurality of detected sound signals emitted by the sound source. The method also configured for determining, in a time variable manner, a main direction of emission of the plurality of sound signals, and reproducing the plurality of sound signals based on the main direction of emission using a first reproduction unit associated with the sound source and at least one second reproduction unit spaced apart from the first reproduction unit. The main direction of emission is simulated in during the reproduction with the at least one second reproduction unit using time delays relative to the first reproduction unit.
