Summary:The present invention relates to an analogue RF device for wireless telecommunication, including a transceiver, a controller, and a tunable bandpass filter panel coupled to each other to cooperate for sending and receiving telecommunication signals in a telecommunication state of operation, the tunable bandpass filter panel comprising a bandpass filter having a plurality of resonators, each resonator being equipped with an adjustable frequency tuning element. According to the invention the controller (4) is coupled to each adjustable tuning element to be able adjust each tuning element under its control, and is coupled to the transceiver (2) for sending and receiving signals therethrough; is adapted to receive and store data representative of a desired frequency dependence of at least one scattering parameter; is arranged to enter a tuning state of operation to execute an automated closed loop tuning algorithm for the tunable bandpass filter, wherein it is arranged to cause the transceiver (2) to send test signals to the bandpass filter (10) and to receive in response thereto, through the transceiver, scattered signals from the bandpass filter (10) for determinig the at least one scattering parameter of the bandpass filter, such that when executing the closed loop tuning algorithm the measured at least one scattering parameter is used as input for varying the adjustments of the tuning elements in order to tune the bandpass filter (10) to the desired frequency dependence of the at least one scattering parameter.
