Summary: | A monitoring system ( 10 ) includes at least one sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) configured to monitor at least one of sound, light, temperature, pressure, humidity, biological, anabolic, and anatomic data. The sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) is connected to a controller ( 14 ) configured to control operation of the sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) such that the sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) is trainable to alert conditions and events. Preferably, the sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) and controller ( 14 ) are interconnected to a plurality of sensors ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ) so that a number of values associated with the data of interest are acquirable. Preferably, the acquired data is stored and categorized to enhance the operability and functionality of the sensor ( 12, 100, 102, 104, 106 ). |
