Summary: | The method involves providing a motor parameter in a predetermined time period after activating an electric motor (1) e.g. direct current motor. A temporary motor rotation angle is determined during the time period by motor parameters nominal and/or estimated from previous motor operation. An error angle between the temporary motor rotation angle and an estimated motor rotation angle determined after the time period is calculated by an error analysis. The error angle is utilized for correcting the temporary motor rotation angle. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining an estimated rotation angle of an electric motor. |
