Summary:A flat earth terminal in the shape of a flat plate comprising a main part with a screw insertion hole and a leg-like terminal part continuously extending from an end of the main part, wherein a recess is formed on a mounting side of the flat earth terminal intended to be located on a printed circuit board, in a proximal portion of the terminal part continuously extending from the main part, to separate a distal portion of the terminal part from the main part. By this, solder is prevented from flowing from the terminal part to the main part, with certainty, so that a stable electric connection between the main part and the printed circuit board is ensured.
