Summary:The invention relates to a method and to a corresponding control system for process planning in driving system devices. Accumulating tasks are classified according to different criterion and then sorted into processing ranking sequence. Criterion are processed in order of priority, the importance of the task, in particular, security aspects, and the deadline until the task must be processed. Additionally, the processing time (if known) required for the task and the useable capacity (system resources) are taken into account. The process planning takes place in a dynamic manner such that, for example, when the most important task is input, the processing ranking sequence is updated. In order to bring forward new tasks with a higher priority, the current, partially finished tasks can be stopped and the (partial) results obtained until now can be used or are temporarily stored for later treatment. Alternatively, the momentary state of the system can be completely stored and can be recalled at a later moment in time. In order to increase the system capacity which can be used for the tasks, data of the available sensors (camera, radar etc.) can be associated with different individual tasks.
