Summary:An electrical connector arrangement comprises plug (1), socket components, electrically conductive contacts, electrical component, and seal. The connector housing includes two housing sections (10, 24'). The lower housing section has first end portion (3) with longitudinal recess (11). The lower section has second end portion (4) with horizontal upper surface. The horizontal upper surface contains groove (25). The groove communicates with longitudinal recess. The upper housing section is on lower housing section. The two housing sections are made of hard synthetic plastic insulating material. The electrically conductive contact includes bus bar portion mounted in the groove, first contact portion, and second contact portion(s). The bus bar portion is mounted in the groove. The first contact portion extends longitudinally from one end of the bus bar portion into the recess. The second contact portion extends orthogonally upwardly from bus bar portion beyond the lower section horizontal upper surface. The electrical component is arranged on the groove. The component is electrically connected with second contact portion. The seal is arranged on two housings for sealing the space surrounding the second contact portion. The seal is formed from relatively soft synthetic plastic material.
