Summary:The present invention provides a method of controlling the amount of the solvent contained in adamantane purified by using a naphthene-based solvent to 0.35% by mass or less, or controlling the amount of the solvent contained in adamantane purified by using a non-naphthene-based solvent to 0.05% by mass or less and storing adamantane at 35°C or lower. By this method, adamantane whose particles do not agglomerate together or cake and having stable quality can be obtained.
