The invention relates to a beverage preparer or to a dispensing device for a beverage preparer, particularly a coffee machine (12; 312; 412; 512; 612), comprising a support surface (26; 326; 626) for a support part (24; 324; 624), which has a collecting receptacle (28; 628), and comprising a beverage outlet (32; 332; 432; 532; 632) located thereabove. The aim of the invention is to eliminate drawbacks associated with the prior art and, in particular, to enable or simplify the filling of collecting receptacles of various lengths, preferably very tall collecting receptacles. To this end, one inventive solution provides that the outlet (32; 332; 432; 532) can be altered in such a manner that its outlet opening can be brought out of a first operating position over the support surface and into a second operating position outside of the vertical projection of the support part (24; 324). According to an alternative solution, the invention provides that at least one section of the support part (624), preferably a drip receptacle (694) can move relative to the remaining device housing and can be pushed under or into the remaining device housing, and the area of the setting surface (620), which is located under the outlet (632) and on which the beverage preparer (612) rests, is then open. According to another independent solution, a dispensing device is provided for a beverage preparer, which is provided in the form of a diverting device (450; 550) with a diverting section (452; 542) extending perpendicular to the vertical direction and can be joined via an inlet (feed tube 484; guide tube 540) to the outlet (432; 532) of the beverage preparer, and has an outlet opening (454; 554) that discharges outside of the vertical projection of the support part.
