Summary:The ladder has a climb safety device that extends on the ladder and is designed as a climb safety rail in front of the steps or rungs of the ladder, where the ladder has several parts and every individual ladder (24) is supported individually. The individual ladder is suspended as a hang-glider on a suspension (30) and is supported against horizontal forces below the suspension in the vicinity of its lower end, via a horizontal support. A tower (12) has a set of individual tower parts that are connected with each other by a flange (14).
