Anti-theft protection of a gauge and draining plug for a fuel tank

The anti-theft system prevents siphoning of fuel from vehicle fuel tanks (12). It comprises a steel strip (2) glued to the tank and which is bent to form a box (3) with one open side in the center. This fits over the fuel gauge (4) or filler cap.
