Summary:Strand guiding element consists of at least two guiding rollers (5a,5b) forming a roller pair and positioned in opposite lying supports (4,7); an adjusting device (10) arranged centrally on the support (7) and interacting with a guiding element fame (2); and guides (15a,16) engaging with counter guides (15b, 16b) on the guiding element frame. Preferred Features: The adjusting device is fixed to hinges (11, 12) on the support (7) and the guiding element frame. The connecting line (13) of the two hinges of the adjusting device corresponding to the effective line of the force applied is normal to the central axis of the guiding rollers.
