Summary:The method involves reversibly transferring information from an acoustic hazard detecting unit (AGME) to another unit using a sound wave. The information transferred from the detecting unit controls the latter unit, where user data and signaling data are used as the information. A temperature in a structural limited area is determined using a sound delay of the sound wave. Chirps are emitted for determining temperature of the detection unit. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for bi-directional communication between an acoustic hazard detecting unit and another unit such as mobile communication terminal; and (2) a system for bi-directional communication between an acoustic hazard detecting unit and another unit such as mobile communication terminal.
