Summary:The device has a camera e.g. charge-coupled device (CCD) camera and an observation channel for receiving optical radiations, which are projected into an eye of an observer over a lens unit, a reversal unit and an eye-glass unit assigned to the observation channel. A tilted mirror is positionable and assigned to the observation channel. An optical module (6`) is insertable or removable from the device for transmission and reception of transmitting and receiving radiations, where the transmitting and receiving radiations are controllable by the tilted mirror in the channel.
