Summary:The axle has an axle body, which is movably fastened at a vehicle body over guiding units (2). Wheels are rotatably supported at ends of the axle body, where the axle body is designed as a compressed air storage. The axle body includes a pipe, which is welded with two end pieces (7) that are supported to a spindle. The guiding units are implemented as plate springs. The guiding units are integrated in the end pieces and are pivotably supported at the vehicle body. An independent claim is also included for a trailer including an axle.
