Summary:The present invention is related to a method of manufacture of silicaimpregnated polymerization catalysts with which ethylene having a broad molecular weight distribution singly or alpha-olefin copolymers may be manufactured. In more detail, the present invention is for the manufacture of new, polyolefin polymerization catalysts offering olefin polymers having a broad molecular weight distribution (melt flow ratio, MFR, MFI/MI > 30), not obtained from the conventional Ziegler-Natta catalysts, and of polymerization catalysts having new formulation and composition obtained according to the above method of manufacture. In the present invention, specific components of Ziegler-Natta catalysts are impregnated in a specific order successively on a silica support, with which polyethylene having a molecular weight distribution of 40 to 50 usually based on the melt flow ratio (MFI/MI) can be manufactured, and activated.
