Summary:The extent of steering quiescent phase is determined as time period during which steering wheel angle remains within preset range. The link between extent of steering quiescent phase and extent of steering action at preset time is produced when extent of quiescent phase is more than preset minimum time and maximum gradient of steering wheel angle exceeds preset gradient threshold value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) driver inattentiveness identification program; (2) computer readable storage medium storing driver inattentiveness identification program; and (3) controller for driver inattentiveness identification.
