Summary:Height adjustable armrest for fittings of vehicle doors, which comprises an anchor element (1) which is fastened to the interior structure of sheet metal and a support element (2) on which the user rests his arm and which incorporates a button pad (21) which comprises an upper end (18) of an operating lever (14). Between the two elements (1,2) a support structure is mounted which pushes the support element (2), the thrust of which while the said upper end (18) of the operating lever (14) is not actuated will be cancelled, the support element (2) remaining stationary, through some locking means which the user can unlock by displacing said upper end (18). When the locking means are released the support element (2) rises unless the user applies a pressure thereon, being displaced therefore downwards. On releasing the upper end (18) of the operating lever (14) the support element (2) remains fixed at the selected height.
