Summary:The invention concern a method for mounting an elevator via the successive placing of guide rails (3) from the bottom of the elevator casing (1),which successively consists of mounting the first lower booth guide rails (3) in support on the casing bottom, of providing at the upper extremity of said rails (3) a link element (25) mounted integral with the booth (7) and connected to a traction hoist element (29) so as to lift up the booth on the rails with the aid of said two link elements (25) pulled identically by the hoist element (29) , of mounting a set of successive second rails (3) in the casing (1) and lifted from the booth or similar element continuously from said first rails (3), and continuing the mounting of the elevator in the same way as mentioned previously from rail to rail up to the top of the casing of the elevator.
