Summary:A frame structure (210) for a scooter type vehicle 10 having a vehicle body frame (11) and a floor panel (222) provided on the vehicle body frame (11) is provided. The frame structure (210) includes a main pipe (71) extending rearwardly from a lower end of a head pipe (211), and a first cross pipe (74) coupled to a rear end of the main pipe (71). The first cross pipe has opposite ends to which engine hanger brackets (77, 77) for supporting an engine are welded. Left and right floor supporting frames (217, 217) for supporting the floor panel are each welded to the engine hanger bracket (77) within a range (274) of welding at the outer periphery of the first cross pipe (76).
