Summary: | An optical module (1) is used in an electronic instrument having a camera. The optical module has a circuit board (10), a photodetector (20) and a lens stage (30). The circuit board has various types of electronics (11). The photodetector is disposed over the electronic devices (11). The photodetector is electrically connected to the circuit board. An insulator (22,22') is disposed between the photodetector (20) and the circuit board (10). The lens stage (30) has an optical lens (33) and a receiving chamber (39) for receiving the electronic device (11) and the optical lens (33). Thereby, an optical module (1) is integrated. The stack structure of the photodetector (20) and the electronic devices (11) greatly reduces the area of the circuit board (10), so as to reduces the overall dimension of the optical module (1). |
