The rinsing fluid is sprayed (21,36) on to the piecegoods in their direction of travel (10), before and/or after the jet. The amount of sprayed fluid in a time unit and/or the fabric movement speed is set by a control unit (33) according to data specific to the fabric and/or specific to the machine and/or specific to the rinsing action.
