Summary: | An electrically-operated device with variable optical/energetic transmission or reflection properties comprises at least one support substrate provided with a stack of layers with electrochromic function including at least two active electrochromic layers, separated by an electrolyte. The stack is arranged between two electrical leads, respectively a lower lead closest to the support substrate and an upper lead furthest from the substrate. The electrochromic material constituting the two active layers is identical and is selected from those of which the coloration is not a linear function of the charges inserted. The electrolyte is a self-supporting film of a material containing polyoxyalkylene or polyoxyethylene. The active electrochromic material contains poly(3,4 - ethylene - dioxythiophene) or one of its derivatives. |
