Summary:The method involves taking a two-dimensional image (2) of scenery and storing the image data. Three-dimensional coordinates of multiple points are taken on the surface of the scenery and the coordinate data are stored, where the coordinates are taken with a laser scanner. Luminance data and/or color data is allocated from the image data to the coordinate data or to the data derived from the coordinate data. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for grasping a three dimensional scenery.
