Summary:The invention relates to a device (10) for thermally conditioning and supplying a thermally and/or chemically active agent, such as for example a reducing agent, to the exhaust gas to be supplied to an exhaust gas purification system, for example to the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine flowing towards a catalyst arrangement. The use of a ceramic material, especially of a composite ceramic material comprising an insulating layer (11) and a heating layer (12), as a device for example for evaporating and supplying a reducing agent such as fuel to an exhaust gas (1), allows for a homogeneous distribution of said reducing agent in the exhaust gas as well as for a flow optimization of the exhaust gas treatment system. The inventive device is further characterized by having a reduced weight and an increased service life.
