Summary: | The housing has a ring-shaped wall (12) with a tooth profile (20) on its inward facing side (18), for rotary coupling of at least one friction part. It also has a housing base (16) integrated with the wall. The tooth profile has tooth projections (22) located behind each other and extending in longitudinal housing direction. The housing base has apertures between every two neighboring projections. The housing is fabricated in several stages. In a first stage, the ring-shaped housing wall is formed with a mainly unstructured surface on its inside, and with an internal diameter corresponding to the min. diameter of the finished part. In a second stage, the tooth profile is formed by wire electrical discharge machining. |
