Summary:The present invention relates to an arrangement comprising a wheel speed sensor (1) and a control device (ECU), wherein the wheel speed sensor is connected to the control device by way of a data interface (k1, k2, k3, k4), wherein the wheel speed sensor includes means for sending rotational speed information in signal channels (t2 . . . t10) and each piece of information is associated with a signal channel and/or a fixed number of signal channels. Further, the wheel speed sensor comprises switch-over means (10, 11) enabling modification of the allocation of the additional information to the available channels by mode switch-over.
